About Continental Flowers

"We are the strongest link between our growers and our clients in the floral industry  "

Continental Flowers was incorporated in Florida in August, 1974 for the purpose of importing and distributing fresh cut flowers. We began servicing wholesale florists in the eastern part of the United States with carnations and pompons. We have since grown to become a leader in the floral industry, as well as a grower with over 75 hectares under production. We now supply the entire United States and Canada with more than sixty varieties of flowers from several countries in Central and South America.

As a leader in the floral industry, we were the first to successfully introduce and market the Madame Delbard rose. This rose revolutionized the United States market. We have continued our tradition of red rose excellence by becoming the largest grower of Forever Young roses in Colombia. This rose has become a favorite among florists for its beauty, high petal count, and exceptional vase life. Our extensive line of roses also include Freedoms, and our Dos Niñas collection of colors.

Our next success, our Alstroejewels® are known for their vibrant colors and large blooms which are hand disbudded. Alstroejewels® have created a new standard for top quality Alstroemeria. Our varieties are chosen from the world's best breeders.

Our state-of-the-art coolers, and pre-coolers, as well as our modern fleet of refrigerated trucks, help to insure and maintain the quality of freshness of our flowers. As pioneers in the floral industry, we continually strive for and achieve vast improvements in our quality, variety, packaging, and handling. As a result, we are recognized as one of the top Grower/Importers in Miami. Because of this commitment to excellence, we are considered by many to be the "one stop shop" for all their floral needs.
